About the Wastewater Practitioners Association
The Wastewater Practitioners Association Qld was formed in June 2002 and is a collective of Local Authorities, companies, individuals and educators. All of these groups play an integral part in providing means of treating and disposing of our wastewater safely and effectively onsite.
Our members include Treatment System Manufacturers, Service Agents, Site and Soil Assessors, Councils, TAFE, Trade Suppliers, etc.
We encourage you to become a member by completing this form (PDF).
This diversity in membership helps us achieve goals by providing direction for technology both now and into the future, for our onsite wastewater treatment and disposal
needs, including future re-use of effluent.
The association members are bound by a code of ethics (constitution), which help provide the purchaser with some security and confidence when buying goods or services from our members.
Our commitment is to training not only our industry, but also the general public so we can meet licence requirements and achieve product awareness.
We welcome you to contact us to find out more.
